Inventory Module
To access the features of this module, you have to be granted its access. Contact Sales representative.
This module helps Geocore users to enrich the data generated by the data platform, to match more customer environment.
It allows transforming:
uidinto productboardsinto shelves, furniture or even location
Centiloc does not intend to enrich the data more than the information above. We won’t add custom data management (chemical product classification, expiration dates…).
On the other hand, we plan to add label support for close to every object in the system.
Before being able to have any additionnal information, user need to setup and enrol their setup.
The enrolment process allows user to create furnitures, shelves and location but also (and most importantly) link uid to a product and more.
Once the environment has been setup, the NFC events detected by a board are communicated to a server with additionnal data.
The additionnal data is:
- The product reference of the NFC tag (if any).
- The position of an NFC tag on a furniture (if any).
- The position of an NFC tag on a shelf (if any).
- The location of an NFC tag (if any).
This data can be used by a connector to enrich and inform third party ERP of product movements.
This is how a furniture may look like:
- A furniture can have one or more shelves, shelves can be positionned on different floors to create the furniture.
- A shelf can be composed of one or more boards and can have one or more locations, the composition of the boards will create a plane surface called shelf.
- A location is present on one or more shelf, a location is a surface with dimensions on one or more shelf.
