LAL stands for Lift & Learn and is Centiloc’s interactive media solution that automatically displays product-related content when a customer physically interacts with an item on a Centiloc’s surface.
It connects physical product handling to dynamic digital communications.
At the core of the system is the LALBox, a compact controller physically connected to a screen display and linked to Centiloc’s smart surface in Centiloc’s system.
- Media Configuration
- Clients uploads and manage their media content (videos, animations, visuals…)
- Clients link media to specific products.
- Product Interaction
- When a customer lifts a product from a Centiloc-enabled surface,
- The system detects the interaction,
- The LALBox instantly triggers the media associated with that product on the connected screen.
- Automated Playback Logic
- The system intelligently manages what is displayed based on the situation.
As stated before, users can define a product-related content, this content is a media.
LAL supports several configurable media categories to structure the customer experience:
- Product-related media:
- Linked directly to a specific product.
- Automatically triggered when the product is lifted or put down.
- Designed to explain, promote or demonstrate the item.
- Outro media (optional)
- Played automatically after each product-related media.
- Can include brand messaging, call-to-action or campaign reinforcement.
- Home media:
- The default content displayed when no interraction is occuring.
- Ensures that screen display is never blank.
- Idle medias:
- A set of media contents displayed at configurable intervals when no product interraction is occuring.
- Useful for rotating promotions, highlights or educational content.
